this book contains all the london stations of the lcdr which have been completely abandoned, or significantly resited, but i have intentionally omitted the original premises at elephant & castle which functioned from 6th october 1862 until february 1863 when replaced by the current station. i have also omitted stations which, although still open, have lost the use of certain platforms. of these the most notable are possibly clapham high street and wandsworth road. although both of these are now served by the south london line only they originally accommodated lcdr trains as well..
